External roller shutters are one of the most popular shading solutions in single-family houses. This solution has a number of advantages, starting with its basic function – i.e. protection from the sun and:<\/p>\n

    Functionality<\/strong>
    \nSP-E flush-mounted systems are designed for use primarily in newly erected buildings, but also in existing buildings after making the necessary changes to the lintel. It is important to plan the use of such solutions and the method of their installation even at the stage of designing the building, which allows to make more effective use of their functional advantages. The SP-E system provides excellent thermal and acoustic insulation, as they do not interfere with the construction of the window, door and lintel, thus not affecting the energy balance. What’s more, these products fit perfectly into the facade of the building, forming an integral part of it.<\/p>\n

    Roller shutters in the Aluprof SP-E flush-mounted system have been designed to primarily provide protection against heat loss. This was especially appreciated by the Passive House Institute in Darmstadt (PHI), which issued a recommendation to use boxes of 165 mm and smaller in passive buildings. A necessary condition is correct installation in a previously insulated lintel in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations. In addition, window joinery should meet appropriate parameters, including: the window’s heat transfer coefficient Uw is lower than 0.80 W\/(m\u00b2K), while the Ug coefficient of the glass does not exceed 0.70 W\/(m\u00b2K).<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Construction<\/strong><\/div>\n
    The roller shutter box is made of profiled aluminum sheet, and its front is also a base for any finishing material (e.g. plaster or clinker), thanks to which the box becomes an unnoticeable element of the building’s facade. Structural elements, i.e. the inspection cover (which is wider than in the SP system), guides and the bottom strip can be color matched to the window joinery. As in the case of adaptive systems, the roller shutter curtain can be made of polyurethane foam-filled, plastic or extruded profiles. Roller shutters in concealed systems can be equipped with an anti-insect mesh, which provides effective protection against insects while maintaining the flow of light and fresh air inside.<\/div>\n

    Comfort of use<\/strong><\/div>\n
    Depending on the users’ needs, the roller blinds can be controlled: manually, by electric drive using a wall transmitter or remote control, or by using intelligent control via a computer, tablet or smartphone.<\/div>\n

    Utility values<\/strong><\/div>\n
    External roller blinds work more effectively than ordinary curtains, facade blinds or shutters, because thanks to their construction, an air cushion is created between the window surface and the roller shutter armor, which is an excellent insulator. They thus allow you to reduce energy costs throughout the year by up to 30%. External roller blinds contribute to reducing heat loss in winter, significantly improving the energy balance of the building. In summer, they effectively protect the interior against excessive heating of the rooms by sunlight, thus reducing the consumption of additional cooling devices.<\/div>\n

    Color palette<\/strong><\/div>\n
    A large selection of colors in the standard palette of PA profiles allows us to meet the needs of the most demanding customers. The offer also includes wood-like colors. The color coatings of extruded elements are made using the powder coating method, which ensures high quality and durability of the product and allows painting in any color from the RAL palette.<\/div>\n

    Under-plaster roller shutters<\/h2>\n\n

    Flush-mounted roller blinds in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a are a variant of roller blinds prepared mainly for buildings that are just under construction. The roller shutter box is mounted on the outside of the window, under the fa\u00e7ade surface, which ensures that it is aesthetically hidden under the finishing material. They create a coherent composition with the fa\u00e7ade. At the same time, they guarantee safety, thermal insulation, innovative design and individual adjustment of controls and colors. However, the box for flush-mounted roller shutters is located outside the building, so there are no service and maintenance problems. There are no problematic boxes or blind elements that are difficult to hide in our interiors.
