Modern Barn – a project featuring a distinctive façade and rooflight

In the “Modern Barn” project, we have combined a traditional form with advanced technical solutions. The hallmark of this realization is two large trapezoidal glazed sections, made using the FA50N façade system. One of them reaches nearly 8 meters in height, ensuring excellent natural lighting for the interior and opening the house to the surrounding landscape.

Throughout the building, aluminum joinery in the RAL9007 structured color has been used-both in Yawal TM77N windows with concealed hinges and in the façades. Safe, tempered glass guarantees durability and a high level of security.

A unique feature is the rooflight based on the FA50N façade, which seamlessly transitions from one roof slope to the other. The structural glass connection creates a uniform, smooth surface with high airtightness and very good insulation properties. The system for mounting glass to mullions and transoms ensures an aesthetic, cohesive look for the façade with clearly defined division lines.

External glass balustrades have been installed, emphasizing the modern character of the building while ensuring safety without obstructing views of the surroundings.

It is worth noting that in the next stage of the investment, the house will be covered with thatch, giving the entire structure a unique character and further highlighting the inspiration drawn from traditional architecture in a modern interpretation.

This project is an example of a harmonious blend of advanced technology, contemporary design, and respect for tradition-all encapsulated in the unique form of the “Modern Barn.”
